Time for the least popular segment of all that is clearly just an excuse to get people coming to the page. First, I would like to send out a thank you to Anibelle and Jenette for finding a bunch of mistakes before most people read the chapter. I was able to fix them right away and make the reading experience better for everybody else. If anybody else finds mistakes I’ve made, feel free to point them out so that I can edit properly. Now, on to the questions and other stuff!
Art Request
I am making a formal request now for art based on your favorite scenes and characters in the story thus far. It will give me something else to show off on these readers’ corners and it’s always fun to see how others visualize what’s been happening.
Story Style
The first question of the week involves the way I write each chapter. Do you like the current format where I show small scenes for all of the ongoing storylines, or would you prefer that I picked a character and focused on them each chapter? Clearly the Prologue was highly focused on Anibelle, and since then I’ve gradually moved away from the single character format. So which do you like better?
Regarding Brute
A lot of people seem to have quite the attachment to Haley’s robot pal Brute. I know that I did not expect nearly the amount of response regarding this character that I’ve received. Many of you are probably wondering then what’s going on with the guy and when will we see him next. Well, if you couldn’t figure it out from the cliffhanger at the end of Chapter 5, there will be more to this robot’s story. In fact, what’s going on with him is integral in the advancing story of another character. Expect the next stage in Brute’s story to be seen in Chapter 8.

Because the character stories tend to mingle and likely will converge from time to time, I think it’s best to inch forward with each separate storyline rather than make leaps with just one.
Art’s on my to-do list still! I still have all day tomorrow to try and at least start something.
Also, I find it funny that even though I’ve made Brute comments, I’m probably not as vocal as other people are about a creation of my own character! Even so, I figured I’d best draw up something of Brute to “flesh him out” so to speak. :O

Here’s a rough concept image of Brute. I didn’t clean it up or make it fanart-worthy, nor did I make consistent lines or add any proper shading, but I will later when I have more time to devote to arting. I mostly wanted something rough to get my mental image on paper of how I viewed Brute, and then I can refine it in images based on events in the story. …Plus my ears still hurt so I can’t spend much time focused on an image >_<
You’ll notice I kept a bit of a Portal-ish head based on a turret–I felt if you were going to sing GLaDOS in the prologue, might as well pump in more Portal influence!

I’ll try and draw some scenes from chapter 1 on, next chance I get. Hopefully they’ll be much more detailed after I make a doctor visit and can get rid of my ear troubles–the pain is like a sort of forced ADD, I can’t focus on things even if I wanted to.
