This is going to be something new I’m trying after urging from Haley. Every Sunday instead of the Preview, I’m going to have a segment where I answer any questions people might have had concerning the story, pose questions for the readers themselves to comment on and hopefully have some fanart or other fanworks to show off eventually. All spoilers will go behind a cut, so please
First question is for you the readers to answer. The question is in relation to the beginning of Chapter Two where Epee and Durendal are talking and mention an “enemy” that they were sent to get rid of. My question is who do you think is this enemy? There are plenty of suspects, or it could be someone not yet introduced. Let me know what you think. This question was first posed by Celtic Minstrel from the Wotchboards.
Next question is from Haley (though also asked by DaveK from the Wotchboards), in regards to Chapter Three. She wants to know more about the procedure which changed Simon into Simone. Why did Simon become a hulking giant woman? Was it intentional or coincidental?
Well, in regards to the change. It certainly was not intentional, given the response of the Amazons’ on the scene. The expected result was that all the men that were placed in the vats were supposed to change into the smaller, weaker, hand maidens. It was supposed to illicit submissive feelings in the new woman as well, so why was Simon’s change different? Well… tune in to Chapter Four and find out! I know, cheap answer. I promise that I will explain why Simon was different than the others sometime in Chapter Four.
I’m going to cut the segment short today because it is the first one and there aren’t many questions going around. Feel free to ask questions you’d like to see discussed or answered next week. Hopefully we’ll have some other content to show soon as well.

Response to your question: my gut instinct tells me that all signs point to Ani right now, given what content we have and that she has a whole prologue to explain her creation. I mean, I’m pretty badass and all, but I’m around to provide cover fire at best! I imagine that there could very well be other potential “enemies” though, you could trick us all and it could be someone we totally have no clue about! If not that crazy orange-glowy-scar Squirrels girl…
Anyways, I also do like this sunday QA ;D At the very least, having one question you answer and one question you ask is good for now! And I promise I’ll draw you some stuff later, there’s a lot of imagery for inspiration to go off of.
